Since 2020, part of every week has gone to the same thing: sitting with a team, looking at what they’ve built, and asking the questions nobody in the room has had time to ask. Fourteen teams a year, across health, agriculture, HR, education, blockchain and business systems.
Some of those projects were excellent. Some were beautifully built and would have collapsed the moment a real user touched them. The teams behind them weren’t bad at their jobs — they were too close to the work to see it. That’s the gap One Click Consulting exists to fill.
Three kinds of people, three different problems
You’re paying for software
Real money is going out for a build you can’t evaluate. The jargon doesn’t help. The updates sound reassuring, but you can’t tell whether the progress is real, whether the quote is fair, or whether what’s being made will work the way your business actually runs.
You’re building it
The code works and the tests pass. But nobody has stepped back to ask whether the database design holds at ten times the data, where users will get lost, or whether this feature is worth the two weeks it costs. Inside a system, you stop seeing its shape.
You’re starting out
You’re building something for the first time and mostly alone with it. Nobody tells you which skills matter and which are noise, and you can’t tell whether you’re stuck because the problem is hard or because you’ve misunderstood something basic.
How a session works

Free intro call
15 minutes. You tell me what you’re working on. We both decide whether I’m useful to you, and if I’m not, I’ll say so.

We look at it together
Your system, your quote, your project or your question. I ask, you answer, and the real problem usually surfaces within the first twenty minutes.

Options, then a summary
I give you the options and tell you which one I’d look into first, and why. You decide. Afterwards you get a one-page written record.
What gets looked at
How it’s built
The technology, the database design, how data is read and stored, and whether it holds up as you grow.
How it feels to use
Screens, flow and the steps a user takes. Where people get lost, and where the product fights them.
Whether it works in real life
A process can look right on screen and fail in an actual shop, clinic or office. That gap is where most systems break.
What it costs you later
Growth, maintenance, and the decisions that are cheap to change now and expensive in six months.
A quote or a proposal
What’s in it, what’s missing, and what to ask before you sign anything.
Where you’re stuck
A bug, a design decision, a career question. We work through it together until the answer is yours.
Who you’ll work with
I’m Ammar Canani, founder of One Click Solutions. I’m not a consultant who reads about software — I build and sell it. One Click POS is an ERP-integrated point of sale system with paying clients across retail, hospitality, food service, education and fuel. When I talk about what survives contact with real users, I’m speaking from supporting it on a Saturday afternoon when something breaks.
Alongside that: technical advisor on final-year systems development projects since 2020, and teaching Excel and Python to university students over the same period. That second part is where I learned to explain technical things to people who aren’t technical, which turns out to be most of the job. LinkedIn

What this isn’t
I don’t write your code, build your product, manage your team or make your decisions. I’m also not here to tell you your developers are cheating you — most aren’t, and I work alongside them rather than against them. What you get is an outside opinion from someone with no stake in the answer, which is exactly what’s missing when everyone in the room is already committed to a direction.
